BackupBuddy to Backup, restore and move WordPress
 I’ve been struggling recently to find a way to back up my wordpress blogs easily and automatically to Amazon S3 which is a REALLY inexpensive way of storing your backups.I’ve tried several plug ins but I keep getting ‘out of memory’ errors in the PHP.ini file which has stopped at least two of the plug ins from working.
I was told about a plug in called Back up buddy that not only backs up your blog to Amazon S3, or eamil, or hard drive etc but it will also clone your site if you want to move it easily to another hosting plan.I bought the plug in and I’ll be writing my review of BackUp Buddy shortly, when I’ve had time to really put it to the test. |
 As I now have SO MANY wordpress blogs and I constantly update them with original content, photos video etc, I often come across the problem of how to add video to a wordpress blog.I’ve tried a lot of solutions and not one of them has been easy to do.
Along with my purchase of Back up Buddy I purchased the PluginBuddy Developer Suite which allows me to display photo slide shows and to add video to any of my wordpress blogs. I can’t wait to get started with them, watch out for my review of Display buddy and I’ll also review VidEmbed which is PlugIn Buddy’s new plug in to embed video. |
