Just about everybody knows about the Google +1 button and Google plus itself, BUT did you know that they’ve also introduced an additional thumbnail that is probably as important if not more for SEO ranking ?

You can now add your “Author Link” to any webpage and preferably use your Google profile to tell them that you are the author.

They will start displaying the profile picture and include it in the ranking relevance in future. This could be quite big.

Make sure that you look at your profile and make sure that is has relevant information in. It may pop up anywhere at any time.
